Terms of Use

The Service
Own a Letter is a digital publishing and identity platform. There are only 26 letters. Customers purchase the current platform-defined ownership position for a letter to present an approved public identity profile and enter its historical record.
What Ownership Means
Becoming the current owner means holding the current ownership position for that letter on Own a Letter. Ownership applies to the platform position only. It grants no trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights in the letter, and no right to use any mark, name, or content associated with it.
Eligibility
Purchases are restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older. By making a purchase you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Payments and Finality
Ownership purchases are final except where a refund, cancellation, or other remedy is required by applicable law. Acceptance of the ownership rules is recorded before every charge. The outcome of a payment is computed once at settlement from the amount alone: a payment greater than the current highest amount takes the Current Face, and any other qualifying payment takes a ranked ladder position.
Positions and the Ladder
Every qualifying payment creates exactly one ownership position on that letter, ranked by the amount paid. The highest paid position holds the Current Face. Positions are permanent platform records: they are not cash, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and have no value outside Own a Letter.
Public Profiles and Consent
Your owner profile appears publicly exactly as you submitted it. Website, social profiles, and public contact fields are displayed only with your explicit consent at submission. Phone and address are never required. Payment data is never displayed.
Prohibited Use
Profiles must be truthful and must not impersonate any person, company, or brand. You may not use the platform to infringe the rights of others or to present content that violates applicable law.
Moderation
The platform may hide or correct public presentation that violates these terms. Financial history is never edited or deleted by moderation. Reports go through Contact.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. The date above reflects the current version. Material changes to purchase mechanics are announced on the platform before they take effect.
